Vietnamesischer Kochkurs
My name is Phuong Nguyen (Mimi). I come from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Germany.
For me, food is much more than something we eat. It tells stories about geography, history, and the way communities live together. Many people know famous Vietnamese dishes such as “Phở” or “Bánh Mì”, but Vietnamese cuisine is much richer and more diverse than that. Every dish has its own story: Why do Vietnamese people use chopsticks for most meals? How does the Vietnamese dining culture differ from German traditions?
Cuisine is an important part of culture and holds a special place in my heart. Through this cooking class, I would love to share not only some of my favorite childhood dishes, but also the stories and cultural perspectives behind them. I look forward to cooking, learning, and exchanging experiences with you.
